Re-pick the address from the suggestions. The pin follows the chosen suggestion.

The pin comes from the suggestion you selected, so a pin in the wrong place means the wrong suggestion was chosen.

  1. Edit the listing and clear the address field entirely.
  2. Type the address again slowly.
  3. Read the suggestions carefully — similar street names in different towns are the usual trap.
  4. Pick the right one and check the map preview.

The usual cause

The wrong suggestion was chosen. Similar street names in neighbouring towns are the classic trap, and the map preview is easy to skip past.

The fix

  1. Edit the listing and clear the address field completely.
  2. Type the address again slowly.
  3. Read each suggestion, including the town.
  4. Pick the right one.
  5. Check the Map Preview shows your actual building before saving.

A wrong pin costs you every distance search and sends people to the wrong place.
