Each appointment in Bookings carries the actions you need:
- Approve — confirms it. Use this promptly.
- Completed — mark it after the customer has been.
- No show — record that they did not arrive.
- Cancel — cancel the appointment.
Keeping these current is what makes the counts on the tabs mean anything.
A sensible daily routine
- Open Bookings and check the Waiting tab first.
- Approve everything you can honour.
- Cancel anything you cannot, so the customer is not left waiting.
- At the end of the day, mark yesterday’s as Completed or No show.
Keeping this current is what makes the counts on the tabs mean anything, and what stops a customer turning up to a slot you did not know about.
A booking sitting in Waiting is a customer with no answer. Clear it daily.
