Two ways.
- Allow the browser to share your location when asked, and results are sorted by distance.
- Or type your city or neighbourhood into the search, which needs no permission.
The assistant works the same way: ask “restaurants near me” and if you have not shared a location it will tell you the results are not filtered by distance and ask which area you mean.
Sharing your location is never required. It only changes the ordering.
