Do events appear in search?

Yes. Events are indexed and also appear on the events pages and calendar.

Events are part of the search index and appear on the events listings and calendar as well as on the listing they belong to.

Because searches for events are usually about a date — “what is on this weekend” — the start and end dates matter as much as the title. Get them right and your event turns up in the right week.
