The logo frame is square — the form says “Use a square image for the best result.”
If your logo is wide, put it on a square canvas with empty space to left and right rather than letting it be squashed. A PNG with a transparent background is best.
The fix
- Open your logo in any image editor.
- Create a square canvas — 800 × 800 is ample.
- Place the logo in the middle with empty space to the left and right.
- Export as PNG with a transparent background.
- Upload it again.
Why a square
The frame is square, so a wide logo is either squeezed or cropped. Adding your own empty space is what stops the site choosing for you.
